On behalf of the staff at Hardy Elementary School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year! We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our Owls achieve their highest potential—academically, socially, and as leaders. Through our commitment to The Leader in Me framework, we strive to empower every student with the confidence, skills, and habits needed to take ownership of their learning and personal growth. We believe that leadership and academic excellence go hand in hand—when students feel valued and capable, they engage more deeply in their learning. This year marks my 16th year in education, my third year as an administrator, and my second year as principal at Hardy Elementary. As your principal, my top priority is to cultivate a caring and inclusive community where students feel safe, seen, and supported—because a strong sense of belonging is the foundation for success. At Hardy, we encourage students to think critically, explore new ideas, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Through engaging instruction and opportunities to lead, we ensure that all students leave Hardy as confident learners, problem solvers, and leaders ready to tackle the future.
