Welcome to Hardy Elementary!

We are thrilled to welcome you and your family to our school community. Whether you are new to San Diego Unified School District or just joining Hardy Elementary, we are here to help guide you through the enrollment process and ensure a smooth transition for your child.

Enrollment Information

Required Enrollment Documents:

• Proof of Residency (current utility bill, phone bill, or rental contract)
• Other documents may be required depending on your child’s grade level and previous school enrollment status

School Tours

We invite prospective families to tour Hardy Elementary! Tours start at 8 AM in the main office on the following dates:

• February 6, 2025
• March 13, 2025
• April 8, 2025

Kindergarten & Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Information

Hardy Elementary offers full-day Kindergarten and TK programs. Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, TK will run from 7:40 AM to 2:00 PM, dismissing 10 minutes earlier than the rest of the school to assist with the pick-up process.

To help our youngest learners transition smoothly, both TK and Kindergarten will have special half-days during the first week of school. Additionally, they have their own age-appropriate, fully fenced playground designed for their safety and enjoyment. Be on the lookout for orientation and assessment dates before the school year begins!
